I recently have been worried i might have cervical cancer, so went for a smear test, swabs and bloods. My question is: Is the HPV virus checked in the smear, or in the swab? My swabs and bloodwork came back clear, just waiting for the smear result, and I must say, I'm terrified of the result. Also, will they tell me over the phone if it's clear? Thanks
