yea these teams didn't have their key players (kevin garnett & ginobili). either way i hate the celtics & spurs (paul pierce is a big bully & spurs are just plain boring).

Home court advantage isn't overrated, and it actually helps most teams in the NBA. Today the Spurs and the Celtics were without two of there key players Manu Ginobli and Kevin Garnett weren't playing and without two guys who bring a lot to there team. As a scenario, think about playing on a court that you are used to and people are cheering for you, would you most likely have a better chance of winning then if you were at a different court with people booing you? Really home court advantage isn't overrated, but it is a definite help to any team.

Yes it is, a good team should be able to win at home and especially on the road. This is where veteran experience comes in. Doesnt matter if you're missing one of your best players or not, Both celtics and spurs have been playing a while without KG and Ginobilli, they should have came up with plan B by now and if they didnt, then they miss out oh well..no one said life would be fair, they both had their shots at championships, they should let others try!

Oh yea and just an FYI, Mavs won against the spurs the last time they faced each other in playoffs in 2006 and they had Ginobili then! It went to 7 games but the Mavs still came on top!
