Hmmm,,, out of past wars Democratic Presidents out-way Republicans

Where is this misconception that Democratic Presidents do not start wars come from? Or vote for war. Is this a revision of history on the part of Obama Democrats?

Woodrow Wilson - WWI, 1914-1918
Warren Harding - formally concluded WWI
Franklin Roosevelt - WWII, 1941-1945
Harry Truman - conclusion of WWII, Korean War - 1950-1953
Dwight Eisenhower - conclusion of Korean War
John Kennedy - Bay of Pigs Invasion, 1961; beginning of Vietnam War
Lyndon Johnson - Vietnam War, Dominican Republic, 1965
Richard Nixon - Vietnam War
Ronald Reagan - Grenada Invasion, 1983
George Bush - Invasion of Panama, 1989-1990; Persian Gulf War, 1990-1991
George W. Bush - War against the Taliban, Iraq, 2001 to present.

Hillary is far left, hardly a Republican. She only seems center because Obama is a radical lefty.

She voted for the war because MOST Democrats did. It was the right thing to do. Obama is trying to capitalize on this after the fact. Hindsight always provides a clearer picture.

She stole Reagan's joke. I'm not surprised but I would not call her "light" by any stretch. She's heavy.

She is trying to appeal to a wider voting bloc. This is not unusual amongst politicians. Bush campaigned as a very religious christian conservative but ignored their issues once in office.

You've got to be kidding!! There isn't anything conservative about her high tax and prochoice ideas! She obviously couldn't come up with a Democratic joke so had to use Reagan's. You are assuming that all Democrats were against the war and you are way off base - most of them voted to go to war!

No it is not odd. Reagan was a great American. Hilliary is a left liberal.

Hillary is not Republican light, she is a Socialist light. She even was very into Communism in her hippie days... before the pants suits. She is a corrupt liar with a more gates then the Bush ranch! No one can touch the Clinton' when it comes to corruption. (Link 1) I don't see how anyone could call her a Republican anything.

Because she planned so far back, a lot of people did think that she would be in the White House without a struggle. Until Karl Rove made a few phones calls.... (Link 2) do you really think Obama is a star?

I am thinking that Dems are not thinking, they got whooped for the last 2 elections, and it is looking that way again.

Clinton voted for the war... and so did everyone else. (Link 3)

KB: Are you kidding, fiscally responsible? Come one, she can't even manage her own campaign. And if you are referring to Bill's cutting the defense budget to fund everything else, thanks... now we are in Afghanistan and Iraq.

No more than Obama or any other Democrat. Don't believe the hype. Hillary is not to blame for how the system works

It's not odd for a politician to use a quote from another great politician, regardless of political affiliation.

On social issues, Hillary is very liberal, however she is what many would consider a pro-business democrat.

Since serving in office herself she has seemed more conservative then most of us thought she was. She voted for some bills early on in her time in the Senate that many democrats fought against. Overall she hasn't been the staple of liberalism that most thought she would be.

I don't think I would call her Republican-Lite, I know she is devoted to the Democratic Party, however she doesn't have the voting record most of us democrats would approve of.

Hill and Bill have always been somewhat conservative. For some strange reason, the Dems have just figured this out. In fact, in some ways her voting record in the senate is more conservative than McCains.

Try reading all the answers you collect.

Then compare them with her voting record for the past 40 years.
