Is he getting off during our chats? How can I tell?

I have a male friend that I like to chat with from time to time. We were friends a long time ago and have always been comfortable with each other. We can usually talk about anything. I am married and he is separated. We talk a lot about sex usually that he isn't getting any.

I'm starting to think he is getting off when we talk. We'll chat for awhile and then he likes to turn it to sex, asking specific questions. I don't really mind it.

I was just wondering what are the signs. I don't want to ask him because I don't want to embarrass him.
 
Does your husband know about this? It sure does sound like inappropriate behavior for a married woman, unless, of course, you and your husband have mutually agreed that it's OK.
