Are there a lot of jobs and how do they pay? I've been hearing that the entire field is full of weak people that are pushed around and abused by employers who want everything (qualifications) and pay nothing. Well atleast not an adult wage (50 - 70,000 yearly) Like a really well trained and long time veteran will make less than a cop.
I also hear that graphic artists now for the most part have no self respect and sell themselves like whores which is just making the industry even worse they say. I hear some things just become a certain way because nobody is brave enough to fix it. And that the road ahead is only going to be worse. Do you have a similar exp. or better? Worse? There are too many designers and not enough jobs - this will drive the payscale down. Is that what's going on?
