Is getting a 360 worth it?

For the last week or so ive been on the fence as to whether or not i should buy a 360. I know it has amazing games, but some of my friends tell me it breaks pretty easily. Any ideas? maybe some personal experiences.
 
Mine Hasn't Broken Yet! I've had it for about a year..

and if you decide to get one and it breaks, make sure you have a warranty. Call up Microsoft if you have a warranty and it breaks and they'll send you a Shiny brand new 360!
 
even though it may break easy(three red rings of death)
if you have the warranty, you can get it fixed it 3 or 4 weeks.
just have to call.
but you should get1.
the gameplay is awesome,graphics rule, and x-box live =]
 
Best system ever. Only problem is are the 3 rings of death. But it has awesome graphics, great gamplay, and Xbox live is the best ever.
 
There is no better time to get a 360 than now. I paid $400 for mine. You can get one for $200 now. That's a no brainer! Target has the 20GB hard drive on sale for only $30! Go get the Arcade version, get the 20GB hard drive from Target, that's $220 right there. You can get a game as well and you're still under $300. Then compare that to paying $400 for a PS3. Oh, and what game would you get for the PS3? There aren't any! If there are? They are also on the 360 so.. yea the 360 may break. Mine did. Twice. But I got it back, twice. Fixed. Never paid anything out of pocket cuz of warranty. There really isn't anything to worry about. MS learned their lesson and the 360s on the shelf now should not break at all. PS3 is too expensive, they can't even get their HOME to work properly, they don't have the exclusive games 360 has, and all the PS3 is is an expensive DVD player that will eventually be obsolete when DVDs/BlueRay is phased out for online downloadab
 
if u like the large amount of games,online play(which u pay), and the price is good 4 u get it. but i prefer the ps3 because of graphics, reverse play features and the avatar thing they comin out with
 
Getting a 360 is more than 100% worth it.
If it does break by any chance (which it doesn't that much anymore) you have a 3 year warranty on it.
