Is Fox news really the most balanced network after all?

A 2008 Pew Research survey found that 49% of their viewers were Republican or leaned Republican

But that 39% of their viewers were Democratic or leaned Democratic.

With 12% giving no political affiliation.

They must be doing something right, if they have such an evenly spread viewership.

As Democratic pundit Bob Beckel ( who worked for Robert F. Kennedy and ran Walter Mondale’s 1984 presidential campaign ) stated,

“I talk to more persuadable voters in a month than anybody on MSNBC and CNN talks to in a year.”

It's impossible for a die hard liberal to actually admit Fox News is given more credence and considered far more accurate than MSNBC, CNBC or CNN. It matters not Democrats who are actually in positions of influence over time (unlike the current runny nosed youngsters), are the ones validating the issue. The liberal youth of today, their character prevents them from humbling themselves to admit facts proving truth. Bekel hit the nail on the head with his comments, basically stating today's young liberals are out of touch. They isolate themselves purposely to protect their own sense of idiology. When approached and challenged, they can't handle it. Instead they deflect and redirect the issues.
 
it appears that democrats think if someone has logic it must be "flawed". perhaps this is because they are watching, CNN (communist news network) . its interesting that fox news is now "faux" news to the dems as well. much of what is aired on FOX news are opinions from people the dems dislike which automatically make them untrue? but liberal's non-existant logic will say otherwise.
 
No. They are heavily slanted to the right. I identify as being liberal, but I watch because I want to know what the conservative slant on the news is, not because I think they are "fair and balanced." I turn to CNN if I want balanced news reporting.

Being popular and having integrity are rarely found in the same place.
 
As biased as FOX is, they are indeed the most balanced.

I don't think any news agency will ever achieve perfect balance but, at least they give it a shot and expose themselves to the scrutiny.
No other agency has that courage.

The sad part is that they got sucked into the trash talk.
Every news agency, including and especially FOX, spend way too much time trash talking one another and way to little time doing what it is we expect of them.
 
They are not balanced and anyone who thinks they are is fooling themselves. I find it odd that people defend so vehemently a news station. No news station is unbiased.
 
Fox does an outstanding job reporting and commentary on today's issues....the liberal don't like them because they question Obama decisions and his agenda....but during every debate they have all sides present...Of course Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly are the best in the biz....No agenda just straight talk and they let you decide...unlike other stations....

I stopped watching CNN because all I ever watch was some race piece on the racism in American...

I stopped watching regular news cast after their love fest over Obama during the election and how bad they treated McCain and Palin....

I stopped watching MSNBC after Keith O....acted like a jerk during the Republican Convention...

If anything the other news services has destroyed themselves...with the race card and bias reporting....
 
it is totally clear that they are, Of course the barry followers are going to say no but they know it;s not true. when even becctle will admit it it is obvious . I mean look who there is on the others. the idiot harry smith , maggie rodriques, olbermann. maggie rodriqius is so biased she can:t even keep it from showing. Fox has both sides on his show and would love for barry to come on but he is such a cry baby all he wants to do is to throw dirt. But the chicago dirty politics is hard to overcome.Man up barry. go to fox and tell them what they are lying about you , Don:t send one of your cronies.

Just because they are not in lock-step with our president doesn't mean they are wrong, it means they are evaluating the facts. This is something that MSNBC, CNN and ABC just don't get. Fox reports on things that the "main stream media" doesn't, like ACORN, Van Jones, Anita Dunn and her husband. The "main stream media" is now being pushed aside because Fox is so dominant that all the other cable news networks combined cannot match the audience. They must be doing something right.
