if you can handle a more grounded (realistic) take on warfare then yes...but there are some caveats.
-the strenght of the game lies in its 4 player co-op campaign, even that though has a limit as to how far apart you can be from teammates (its a big distance but its existance is annoying)..you cannot select your loadout for any of the campaign missions either.
-the game also has 2 adversarial modes...both are limited to 4 vs 4 (with up 12 AI per team)...lastly both adversarial modes only feature 2 maps apiece.
the net code is awaiting a patch...lastly the game promised to be an open ended full battlefield experience with vehicles and free roam...there is no free roam (though the maneuvering space is big enough), and the combat is infantry centric...vehicles are hardly present for the player in any mode.
The PC version features 16 vs 16 combat as well as a map editor.
