i recently got a nice inheritance from my grandmother but my mother wants me to transfer the money from my account to hers so when we fill out for financial aid it doesn't look like i'm rich. i really don't want to do that though. so my question is does it matter if the money is in my account as opposed to in her account to get financial aid?
is financial aid based on what you have or your parents?
