Hello: I´ve always wanted to get involved into the movie business, I love computers so I picture myself editing films or videos. To be precisely, my goal is to work in movie trailers. So how good is the Digital Media program at FIDM? Worthwhile experience? Good connections?
Another question, how useful is an AA degree in this field? I get that it also has to do with your skills (meaning not all great people working in the field has a BA degree, or have attended UCLA). I´m not asking which one is the best, just if AA is one right choice, or I better try to earn a BA and not waste my money.
Finally, you probably wonder why I want to go to a fashion school instead of other colleges with a whole film department. The answer is that I also love fashion (as a hobby) so I figured this might be a nice atmosphere for college time. I´m considering all the options in LA.
