Is Family Guy sexist?

Family Guy being sexist is the last thing im worried about, I mean all shows have gender, color, & cultural sterotypes, wich sucks, but remember family guy is a comedy. But yes it is somewhat sexist at times, along with being down right horrible with the STD jokes the religion bashing and of course the occasional "Twisted Morals" tale. True FG is no where near, and hopefully never will be as bad as south park. But in the end yes FG is somewhat sexist but what US animated comedy isnt!?

Family Guy has that disclaimer for a reason, folks.

Again, this show attacks everyone. Not just women. Everyone. Besides, most of the male cast are idiots anyway while the primary female cast member is one of the smartest, reasonable and tolerant characters on the whole show.

Yes, this.

Speaking of Family Guy watching tonight's repeat, I noticed they took out the Christian Bale gag. I wonder why. Must've caused a huge outrage or something.

It's true everyone's a target, but it still suffers from the typical 'shows written by males' problems. Women characters are usually in the background, and often sexualized when they do pop up (pun intended), and the male characters get more focus and recognition when it comes to actual plot (as much 'plot' as Family Guy gets, anyway) and screen-time in general.
