Is experience as an Army Officer beneficial for PA (Physician's Assistant) School?

I am in my Junior year of college at Michigan State University. I am majoring in Biology. I want to join the Army and become an Officer for a few years just for the experience. After that, I want to go to PA school.

Would having been an Army officer be beneficial on my transcripts to PA school?

Would having been an Army Officer be beneficial for my resume after PA school?
