Is ESPN biased towards any teams during football season?

College Football - Ohio state and Norte Dame

Pro Football - Patriots, Cowboys, and whatever B Favre is doing

Basketball - Celtics and Kobe

baseball - they should change their name to RSN for Red Sox network

ESPN is biased anything NFL. I can't believe they hype up the draft, free agency, training camps, trade deadlines, etc. The NFL is talked about on every single episode of Sportscenter in some way, shape, or form. I wouldn't be surprised if the head honchos of the NFL pay ESPN to talk about them so much.

East coast teams get more coverage from ESPN in EVERY sport. The East Coast Bias is alive an well in Bristol, CT.

The most popular teams will get the most coverage despite their success. Whether it is America's Team (Cowboys), the Steelers, Eagles, Giants, etc. You won't hear anyone talk about the 49ers, Rams, Vikings, etc. unless there is a reason to talk about them.

Same can be applied to NBA. Cavs, Lakers, Boston, Knicks, get the treatment because of location and super stardom.

ESPN is practically biased with anything east of the Mississippi River and LA
