Is eight weeks enough time to train for half marathon if I can run 5 miles

outdoors already? I want to run the entire thing.
well 24 weeks is enough time since a novice should be able to do a full marathon in 26 weeks. My half marathon is in Ireland and I'm dreading the sore legs lol
