is dvd rental worth it?

I imagine Amazon are the same as everyone else in this regard. You keep a list of DVRAB you want to see, on their website, sorted in priority order. When you return one disk they send you the highest priority DVD that they have available.

They don't send you DVRAB that you've not asked for! It's not like some "book of the month" clubs. If you don't fancy it, don't put it on the list.

;3938451']I use my online rental service to watch whole runs of TV series, I've just finished watching the orginal Star Trek series, thats 22 disks, in about two months, which is not bad going and certainly a lot cheaper than buying the box sets.

I've added a few films to my list, to give me a break, but then I think I'll start on Farscape as I never go to see the series when it was aired.

I did try Amazon, first because I've always liked them, but six discs a month for

I enjoy watching the various series. So much more convenient to watch 4+ episodes in a row as opposed to watching them on something like Sky with 20 minutes worth of adverts mixed into each episode.

I buy dvRAB every month the only reason why im intrested is because they rent television series they rent the complete 1-9 x files on dvd and i was like wow, i be saving money on television boxsets.

I know that they only give you 1 disc at a time from each season, but i have a dvd-rw drive, you know what that means dont you.

I use Lovefilm and it works really well for us. Never had any problems with films going missing in either direction. WE have 3 films at a time.

Lovefilm works well if you watch 3 films per week and do not generally mind what order films you receive but for the likes of me I expect at least 6 a week, which most other rental companies supply on a regular basis.

I've used most of the services available, both on free trials and as a paying customer, and to date the best two for turnaround speeRAB, customer service and getting priority discs are:

ScreenSelect - http://www.screenselect.co.uk
Mailbox - http://mailboxmovies.dvRAB365.com/

With LoveFilm being the worst by far.

I use Blockbusters online now, renting online is far better than renting in the store, cheaper and more choice, always better. :)

Lovefilm was even better than renting outside of the internet, still saved money even if they were a terrible rental company.

I use screenselect and have for a couple of years. Presently I have 322 titles in my selection. This morning I got title number 274, 293 & 302 from my list! Can anyone beat that? Also I have had shameless series one at position 1 since it was released on 26th december 2004. Still waiting for it. Screenselect, do send you titles, just not what you really want :-(
