Is Donald Trump acting Presidential with his rant about Obama's birthplace?

On the eve of a major shutdown the government, the only headlines is Donald Trump's conversation with a feeble woman in Africa about Obama birth (paid to say whatever the Donald said). Give me a break. When I look at the smug look on the Speaker of the House with his fine tailor suit, coif hair and manicure hands, I am reminded of all the people in America that can suffer from this insensitive and childish act. We in America are showing the world what they already believe that we are a "I" nation and not a "We" nation.
My father did not get a Social Security card until 1943, and a birth certificate for him could not be found.
 
You should look up the definition of rant. Trump isn't ranting. If you actually listen to what he is saying is simply saying, that the Birth record ordeal is something that a lot of people see as holding Obama back. But, it could easily be cleared up right now and forever by just showing it. Weather Obama refuses to show it because he thinks its petty or some other reason, it simply seams suspicious enough for some people and weather they are justified or not, in this country they are still allowed to vote. If any thing, Trump is trying to help clear this issue once and for all. That being said, then yes I think he is acting Presidential.
 
The american people deserve to see the proof. He who has nothing to hide, hides nothing. I would have no problem producing a birth certificate, because I have one. Why would Obama spend 2 million dollars to avoid showing proof, then pay $10 at the county clerks office for a certified copy to show the american people. If a relative would lie to cast a bad shadow on her relative, then his family has a problem with loyalty. It could be that the old woman refuses to lie even though Obama tried to buy her off. He figured that she would be discounted by people like you as senile, and feeble minded.

The trump would look more presidential if he got rid of the fake comb-over/wig/toupee.
 
Trump makes valid points. Ya know, I can produce my birth certificate WITHOUT a team of lawyers. President Obama has explaining to do and I can't wait for 5 years or so down the road when everyone behind the Obama White House scenes comes forward with juicy tell all books........
 
The "feeble woman" in Africa is Obama's STEP-grandmother, and she repeatedly told the translator that Obama was born in America, NOT Mombasa, but Trump's selective hearing kicked in and he missed that part. As to Trump's "acting Presidential", he wouldn't have the first clue as to how to begin; he's just mad that he can't be king.
 
No he sounds like a real American who knows the truth and going after it. Funny my grandmother was born in 1919 and has one!!!

As defined by the nation as a whole? No. The smarter candidates cater to the extreme at smaller events and cater to the center at larger events since your party base that votes in the primary pays more attention to those small events. Although, with media being what it is today, there is no longer much difference.

It doesn't really matter, though, Trump is running for President of Television, not President of the United States. He's trying to increase his ratings and the value of his name. Sale of the Trump name is by far his primary source of income. It used to be leveraged real estate deals, but I guess you can only go bankrupt so many times during a real estate crash before you divest a little.
 
Yes, we need leaders who will step out and do what it takes regardless of it being unpopular. That's the kind of person who founded this country.

The fact is that the Donald got your attention which is all he was after in the first place.

The Speaker - it's good that you didn't call him the leader in the House. Sad, the country has now been placed in the hands of the tea party which must make the Koch brothers very proud.

The country is now being held hostage by abortion zealots.

Trump is chasing the lunatic fringe of Repuglican politics, and it is working for him. Polls suggest he seems to have usurped Sarah Palin's share of the Teabbager faction, and he is tied with Huckaberry for second place among all Repuglicans.

Wait until those social conservatives find out about Trump's habit of importing Communist wives and his past positions on abortion. They will drop him in a New York second.
