...best imaginary superhero? when I listen to kids argue about superheroes:
"mine has heat vision"
"well mine has heat vision protection and can lift buildings"
"that´s nothing, mine can lift whole mountains"
it reminds me a lot about some of the arguments christians come up with here about their god:
"you can´t understand him because he is beyond understanding (though how I know this I won´t say"
"god is the uncaused cause"
"he knows everything and can do everything. physical laws don´t apply to him because he made the laws"
and my all-time favourite
"god doesn´t have to be logical. He exists outside of logic"
GEM: Do you do much analogously predicating in the former way of analogy when you´re not talking fatuous drivel?
