I've been reading Angels & Demons and it has SOOO much to do with the Catholic Church, and also defending it, that I was thinking the author, Dan Brown was Catholic, or at least Christian. I remember reading somewhere, though, that he's "exploring his spirituality," which to me means he's exploring different religions and/or exploring his beliefs about God, etc.

It seems that, though he considers himself Catholic, he just believes in God & is more of a spiritual, as opposed to religious person, like me. For me, it's because, though I was raised Catholic, I don't believe in everything the Catholic church teaches, but I still believe in God, etc....I feel that I'm on a quest (when I have time) to find that religion that suits my beliefs. I almost got there, but I'm not quite there yet...Or maybe there's no 1 religion that perfectly suits me.
