the rides have gone? We loved this place, a quiet peaceful haven from Disney and all the other overcrowded places. Such a shame if its gone for good. Anyone know what is happening to it?

I have only been once but it was awful in my opinion.
It's more a place for the older people, whereas Orlando is a family destination. Hardly anyone was there, the only place in Orlando you don't have to queue for ages for
All the Internet searching I did seems to say that it is NOT going to make it. I just don't think the old-fashioned costumed Southern Belles and Water Skiers is enough entertainment for our current (and future) generation of jaded tourists. I never made it there (since I lived in Michigan and Arizona) but sure enjoyed seeing it on TV and in the movies.
