Is creation perfect, while only Man is the imperfect one?

The wages of sin is death.
And ALL things die. The whole world FELL in the Fall of Man.
Why?

Because God allowed mankind to have "dominion" over all of Creation. When man fell, all of creation fell into sin with him. We are intimately TIED to creation.
