Is constitutional law a mere local ordinance on the greater world stage?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a Wednesday vote on a State Department nominee who supports gun control on a global scale. While advocates of the Second Amendment have come to expect that appointees of President Barack Obama would be hostile to the rights of gun owners, the president's nominee for legal advisor to the State Department reaches a whole new level of anti-gun extremism.

Harold Hongju Koh, who served at the State Department under the Clinton administration, is a self-described "trans-nationalist" who believes that our laws -- and our Constitution -- should be brought into
conformity with international agreements. (emphasis added)

"If you want to be in the global environment, you have to play by the
global rules," Koh told a Cleveland audience.

That's the way Slick Barry Obama and his followers view the world. We should submit to global law, even if the folks running the world order are:

China and Russia - Broad defenders of human rights :)

No, We are a sovereign nation and we have a Constitution for the purpose of protecting the people from our own government.

The criminals in the government have, since 1800, have been violating The Constitution. Until the current bunch of IDIOTS, people haven't seen an extreme enough change to take notice. Look at the amendment to The Constitution. prior to 1800, clauses said the rights of the people shall not be...or congress shall make no law. After 1800, many of the amendments say, Congress shall have the power...

These clowns are doing what the founding fathers warned and tried to protect us from (A republic Ma'am, if you can keep it) The voters are too stupid to know better. Thank you, government schools.

The democrat party "is" about tyranny. They can lie all they want but the actions are there. It is not hard to see, socialism leads to tyranny. somehow you have to get people to work for their meager existence. Force will be applied. It was called slavery.

If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary - The Federalist No. 51 James Madison

Why hate obama, look at the real hypocrites like Ensign and Sanford, you repubs are being quiet on that one and as far as gun control name one gun Obama has made illegal
