Said it before and I'll say it again. Just go to a best buy on PS3 launch eve and tell a manager you'll buy an expensive tv with all the goodies if he sells you a PS3 on launch night.

Those guys will do anything to sell protection plans and cables.

All you're doing is getting on the "reserve" list. It's not a deal at all. The first shipment is going to be GONE the moment they open on friday, so if you want to go in friday morning, pick out a TV, buy it, and see how many PS3s are left, go for it.
