Is community college my only option?

I am entering my senior year of high school, and my dream is to go to a particular university and become an RN. However, my parents saved zero money for my college and have horrible credit, and cannot co-sign on a loan. I made a 25 on the ACT, and have had average grades in school (I'm capable of making straight A's, I just didn't apply myself like I should have. I wish I would have known earlier I'd be stuck in this situation!). I could get full scholarships to community college, but that's not what I want at all. I have no problem paying off my own student loans, I just don't know if I could get them because of my parent's credit. Is community college my only option? I know about the FAFSA but again, it would have to cover EVERYTHING. My parents didn't save a dime.

SOME loans you get no matter what, they dont check your credit. SOME they do. You need to sit down with a FA advisor and find out. Also, fill out the 09-10 FAFSA. That might help you.

College aid depends on how much money your parents make if your a

dependent of them. Because of both my parents income I had to pay

for my own community college education.

Go to the community college for th RN program because you can get

you Associate Degree and take the RL License test. Then transfer

to your dream university.
