Is Cleveland Show Too Unoriginal?

I actually find the Cleveland Show mildly entertaining, a tad bit smarter than Family Guy, which is nice.

Yeah, a sitcom about a family...that's never been done before. Hey, while we're at it, how about maybe a sitcom about a bunch of single folks living in NYC?

We'll strike GOLD with originality on that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe that the main problem with The Cleveland Show is that it's "too unoriginal" because even a lack of originality can provide satisfactory results. It will never become phenomenal, but to the extent that I can sit down and enjoy it.

No, I think its problem is that it sucks. There is no defending this show. Every week it is 22 minutes straight of horrible.

Have you ever had a friend who tells like, one funny joke and then after that thinks he's a comedian and you find yourself uncomfortable with just how unfunny he actually is? THAT is The Cleveland Show.

Condersidering that originality is at near death, anyone will probably try anything.
