- inactivity is a sign of laziness
- life should be ordered and fast paced
- humans are above the physical workld and it is subject to them
- work time is set and is different to leisure time

Being
- inactivity does not necessarily lesen individual worthiness
- life should be leisurely and comtemplative
- humans are part of the physical world
- work and leisure can co-exist
