is Buick a prestigious brand and status symbol in the US?

i mean is Buick like Cadillac? a luxury US brand?

does it carry that "ooh a buick" type thing?

i mean configuring a ford taurus and a buick la crosse...there is only a few grand difference but the buick trumps the taurus with luxury.

would you be proud to own a buick? is it lexus level? im talkin status symbolwise!
