Is bright yellow urine bad?

My daughter is 2 yrs old and today her urine is bright yellow. there is no change in her fluids or eating or vitamins. nothing has changed just her urine. Is it something to be concerned about?

what does it normally look like? bright yellow urine would be considered normal, just a bit less diluted. you may think she got the same amount of fluids in before in how it appears but it could have been less too ya know what i mean? food can also color our urine too at times. it all depends upon what we take in and how much real fluids are also taken in as well. the more fluid, with the exception of the morning urine(always much more concentrated),the lighter in color our urine actually is just becasue it gets more diluted.

was this going on all day or a one time thing or what exactly? i would simply watch and see how things go for the next week with what she is actually taking in and how her urine appears. if she isn't showing any signs of other symptoms of anything, this is more than likely normal? but when in doubt,or just to ease our minds as parents at times, you can talk to her doc over the phone or just have them run some labs on her urine too ya know? just see howit goes. please keep me posted. Huh....it just sounds like she might be a tad bit dehydrated. I know some foods can effect the color of urine. If it stays such a color, I'd be concerned enough to tell the doctor. That first of the day urine is always more concentrated, but the rest of it throughout the day should certainly be lighter in color.

no problem. thanks for letting me know that. she probably just took in less fluids the day before. you just don;t always really notice with kids just really how much they take in or don't take in ya know? FB
