...they can't handle losing? Personally, I think it's ridiculous. The AF clearly had every right to *decide* whom to award the contract to--and all I see--from the reactions here where I live (Everett)--?

It's like Clinton all over again: She think she's ENTITLED to the Presidency because she's a CLINTON.

I get the same sense from this company: "We should be ENTITLED to the contract because we are BOEING."

This also reminds me of Halliburton's no-bid contracts for Iraq and the Katrina reconstruction efforts.

Anyhew...

I'm still amused that this company can't take NO lying down. It's like they have to throw a tizzy and demand that "Daddy" (the GAO), do something to "rectify" the situation.

So what do we have? A witch hunt into the AF's decision to award the contract to Airbus.

How many millions is that going to cost the America taxpayer? Probably less than what the GOP was shelling out chasing a man for infidelity problems.

And Boeing is still going to lose out.

No offense, Sky, but do you have some kind of freaking learning disability? Or are you doing this deliberately?

I'm talking about the MANY times you have been told, by me and others, that Clinton was not being "chased for infidelity problems."

He was being "chased" because he committed perjury and obstruction of justice.

Sky, I KNOW that this has been clearly explained to you more than once on this board.

So, I can only conclude that you either have a massive learning disability ...

... or you are just stubbornly pushing the "infidelity problems" claim in order to score political points.

What is it about liberals that makes them think their "activism" gives them license to bend and twist the truth?
 
Here's the irony of the whole situation...

Republicans were angry with the French for not allowing the US military usage of their airspace.

Remember Freedom Fries and all of those jokes about the French?

However, some of those same Republican lobbied on behalf of EADS. I guess Republican loyalty for the USA goes to the highest bidder.

As to Boeing whining, I haven't read the RFP and don't know what changes were made to make a call on that.

Clinton was originally "chased" for the Whitewater Scandal where the prosecutor found nothing so Starr went on a fishing expedition. Starr eventually got Clinton on Perjury and Obstruction of Justice charges for lying about his relationship with Monica Lewinski. It sure sounds like infidelity to me.

The final outcome, as we all know, the Republican controlled Senate found Clinton not guilty.
