Is bicycle riding any good practice for when I'm old enough to get a motorcyle and race?

I'm keen on land speed racing like at Bonneville and the Muhave desert, but I wanna do superbike racing as well, does it help riding bicylces, maybe to improve balance or something?
I can already ride well and fast but I don't know if there is anything else I can do without an engine.
 
Yes, if you can ride a bicycle then steering and cornering on a motorcycle is very easy because you don't need to pedal at the same time. Of course it won't help you with clutch control and changing gear - you'll have to practice that on a motorbike.
