I asked him, and he said to tell you "Yes". The reports that he died in a traffic accident last year was just a HOAX spread over the Internet by people with too much time on their hands. He is presently working on a film tentatively titled "Doesn't Texas Ever End" which is currently in the production stages. He also said to tell you, "Thank you for asking".
