Small businesses cant flourish. The government protects the interests of the corporate elite and this drives out the small businesses. Even without government protection, those who get their money unethically can afford to start up a business and drive out competition by charging lower prices. And an idealistic version of capitalism ignores this completely, the fact that we dont all have equal opportunities, and those who inherit large amounts of money have an advantage.
