That Christian is me, btw. I try to enjoy life by doing fun & positive hobbies, but sometimes (when I’m really bored/stressed/sad) I read steamy romance stories to escape/ease my troubles. Are romance books a form of fornication (even though it's fictional)? Am I living a bad double life by reading these stories (to do pure things & attend church one day, but sit at home reading steamy stories the next day)? I just want to be sure, as I hate to hurt God.
Is bad for a Christian to read/like romance stories?
