I'm a senior in high school and will be buying a Macbook Pro for college. Right now, I live in western Maryland and the closest Apple Store is about two and a half hours away. I go to West Virginia University in the fall which is about forty-five minutes from an Apple Store in suburban Pittsburgh. My plan was to buy the Mac with the education discount in June and then, if I were to get the One to One, I was going to activate it when I went to college. I am a pretty tech savvy, well informed person and know my way around electronics, but I've never owned a Mac before and was kind of hoping that, by signing up for One to One, I would get to know Mac OS as well as I know Windows. As I understand it, I have 52 weeks from the time I activate it and can schedule One to One appointments up to once a week within those 52 weeks but don't have to schedule any more sessions than I want to. Is this how it works? Would it worth the 99 dollars to receive training once or twice a month if I need it, even though the drive is a little long? Thanks to all replies!
