Is anyone else disgusted by our media's take on piracy?

Pirates make an unprovoked attempt to hijack an unarmed American vessel, and are repelled. However, in the process, they take a single hostage and hold him for five days. The United States finally takes action to rescue their kidnapped citizen, and killing three of the four pirates who clearly would have had no issues with killing their hostage, and what does our lovely media do?

They spin it and portray the pirates as innocent victims and our military as a violent aggressor.

Is anyone else disgusted by this?
