Is anyone else completely disgusted with our media?

It seems that all I ever hear about is Michael Jackson and his death, but never hear anything about our soldiers overseas that are dying everyday. It's true that many don't believe we should be at war, but the fact remains that we are and Michael Jackson was merely and entertainer. He's dead and they need to drop it already.
Daljack, if you would look to the right of the answers to my question, the advertisements are also about Michael Jackson. Wake up!
 
You're not listening or watching the right media.

When one doesn't give you what you're looking for there are more ways to get the information you want.

We're really lucky now because we have so many sources.
 
I absolutely agree with you. The media doesn't care about reporting the facts; they care about reporting was is sensational and furthers their own agendas. Why do we never hear about our troops overseas? Bc the media is adamantly against the war we're fighting. Instead of reporting the facts--which is that our boys are kicking butt and taking names and the Iraqi people love what the soldiers are doing for them--they report only what supports their views on the war. The media has everything backwards; instead of supporting the troops that are fighting for freedom, they report 24/7 on a long since retired pop star that molested children. They make me sick.

Yes. The mainstream news media sucks. It's funny how liberals will call you an idiot for watching Fox news. They Say "Oh they are not legitimate because they are right wing". I guess they think that there should not be any opposing view from the left wing mainstream news media.
 
It is a smoke screen, so that the uneducated will not think to question the atrocities that are currently taking place in Washington, DC.
 
As a Veteran this is the sad truth.. we are currently raising money for a soldier that lost both his legs in combat. You would have heard about it but he does not wear a glove or sing. He did not write a children's book on death row, and he does not play a sport. All he did was put his life on the line for our freedoms without asking for anything back. To the Media that's not enough to the few of us we owe him a lot.
