If you have a little time, go through the activist groups and foundations and read about them at this home page: http://activistcash.com/ I obviously can't verify the contents of that website but even if half of what I have read is true, it's enough to give anyone pause for concern. I also haven't done a comprehensive check but I believe most if not all of these groups support CO2 emissions reduction due to man made global warming.
Here is a sample of some of the bigger organizations:
Union for Concerned Scientists: http://activistcash.com/organization_overview.cfm/o/145-union-of-concerned-scientists
Greenpeace: http://activistcash.com/organization_overview.cfm/o/131-greenpeace
The Sierra Club: http://activistcash.com/organization_overview.cfm/o/194-sierra-club
Does any of this cause you concern or does it all seem normal to you?
As well, does this all seem to financially dwarf the so-called big oil support for climate skepticism as shown in this latest question here? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlkqVs_tydLKKTGu_Alz4P3_5nNG;_ylv=3?qid=20100331070637AAITLVx
