Is anal sex a sinful practice?

Me and my boyfriend are devout Catholics and in no way want to hurt Jesus' good name

But we are very much interested in spicing up our sex life with anal sex but do not want to be turned down at the gates of Heaven.

Is anal sex sinful because it is not used to procreate? I am not entirely sure on this one. I asked my pastor if it was sinful and he told me that the Virgin Mary engaged in anal sex. He said that the man's seed must have spilled from within her anus after ejaculation and seeped into her vagina causing her to become pregnant with baby Jesus while remaining a technical virgin.

So as you can tell I didn't really get a clear answer here as our Father went on and on about the very complex story. If the Virgin Mary practiced the action is it with sin? Or without?

So confused, please help!

According to what I read in the bible, any form of sexual activity not used for procreation is sinful.

Effectively, he gives you the goods, then says "Feel it's touch". Then says "Here are the condition.. Kkthxbai!"

So yes, I think it is a sin.

Kinda confused. I have never heard a Catholic call a Priest, pastor before. I always heard Father or Priest. Anyway, if you are not a troll, anal sex is a form of sodomy and yes according to the bible it is a sin.
