My boyfriend and I are trying to update my old Toshiba Satellite to give to a friend. We're trying to figure out, tho, if the Intel wireless card is compatible with Xp SP3. My boyfriend tried updating to SP3, and it didn't install correctly, and the computer got messed up that we had to start all over from rebooting the OS. I can't find any info as to whether SP3 will screw with the performance of the wireless card, so anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Is an Intel 3945 wireless card compatible with XPSP3?
