is alpine college Medical assistant a joke?

I am wondering of this school and program are legit they have a 9 month program and the community college has it for 2 years which is better? community or alpine? I just dont want to go 9 months only not to be able to find a job based on the poor training
 
Go for something a bit more specialized if you're going to spend 2 years. Medical Assistants are sort of a dime a dozen..they have a hard time finding jobs..and they are not paid well for the most part.I mean, they don't really have a lot of stress on them either, so I suppose they are paid fairly. If you are not intending to be the breadwinner of your family, it's a fine career.
