Okay. I'm hanging out with my "girlfriend" tonight at the movies. I asked her out over the phone (by calling her) just the other day. Haven't seen her since. She said yes, and seemed happy about it. We text like 24/7 and are really comfortable with each other but other than hugs, we haven't had physical contact. This is my plan that I hope to do.
-When she arrives I give her a friendly hug. Usually just get one when she leaves, and she offers it up by putting her hands in a hug position.
-Obviously compliment her on how good she looks, and I know she will look good.
-Walk through the little area to the theater where the actual movie is, not like the lobby, and when we do I start to hold her hand. I've never done it.
-While I'm holding her hand, I slowly stop her and look her in the eyes and say "This is gonna sound stupid, but I wanted to ask you out again, but in person. I like you, spending time with you, and pretty much everything about you. Will you go out with me?" and I expect her to say yes since she did over the phone, but you never know.
-Enter the movie, watch it and POSSIBLY if it seems right, put my arm around her.
-After we leave we'll talk like we usually do while waiting for our rides to get there. I won't go until she does, even if my ride is already there.
-When she starts leaving she'll probably offer the hug and I'll give it maybe a little tighter than usual, but not much. I'll also maybe put one hand on the lower back, but not low as to weird her out.
About her - She's shy, not sexual at all, fun and not like normal girls. She's not prissy princess.
I don't know how to much more describe her other than that she is amazing and I feel lucky to have her.
I want to know how much of this I shouldn't do and if there's anything else I SHOULD do. Remember, I asked her by calling this Tuesday and it's Friday so we haven't really done much as girlfriend boyfriend. We've hung out a few times already though. Also, she's and 8th grader and I'm a 9th grader.
