Is Ajax as safe for baby hair as Dawn liquid dish detergent?

My baby got vaseline in his hair and nothing was working so I read online to use liquid dish detergent. Then after reading more I found a lot about Dawn being safe but I used Ajax, now I am worried I did the wrong thing! Help!!!

dnt use this on ure baby!!!!!

just wipe it out with a damp cloth then pass a dry cloth over it and leave the residue alone it will come off on its own...

wat if u put these things to remove d vaseline and ure baby is allergic to them?

You should stick with baby shampoos. DO NOT use ajax on babies, or dawn, or any dish detergent. They are too powerfull, and can burn babies' eyes (cause them pain)

I'm not sure Dawn or Ajax is safe for a baby's hair. Why not baby shampoo. How did your baby end up with vaselline in his hair?

Just rinse it really well and don't worry he'll be fine.

as long as you did not get it into his eyes he should be fine..but Vaseline in his hair is nothing to worry about..it will come out over time even with baby shampoo..it will just be like have conditioner in his hair..
