Is Age 10-21 suicide a newer problem in the history of civilization?

Wondering if kid suicide is from The type of society.

There are so many human problems these days, but they have been around for a long time, except for a few.
In my opinion GM foods (genetically modified) and biowarfare are the newest problems these days.

Nope people have been committing suicide for as long as humans have existed.

in my area of cities...we had tragic events..around 15 kids comited suicide....10 from one highschool and 5 from a city like 15 mins away...we think we have it so bad but we dont..if i was a starving homelss kid in africa i might..but when i have celphones///tv//a bed///computer//everything i have...i would be thankfull...alot has to do with "relationships" wer teens ..its not gonna last..
