Is Aegon/ World Financial Group safe to invest in?

Perhaps not a total scam.
They have no earnings in the last year.
They are based offshore.
They might try to deliver, but there ability to do so seems questionable. And they aren't under US Law.

6% long term isn't that great. You should look for more in the stock market. And yes, I feel this company presents similar risk to investing in the stock market.
 
Agree with above, they are worrisome. They had to get 3 billion from the Dutch government last October and have lost money every quarter since then.

It is as safe as nearly all others making similar statements, which in my bearish opinion isn't. A CD with FDIC insurance would be the best till November.
