Is a Yamaha Warrior (1700cc bike) a good starter bike?

haha I was just kidding. That was to scare people. My real question is if leather and the jumpsuit that the sports bike people wear any different. Is one of them better than the other in general. I know there are different types of leather and everything but just in General.
 
The "jumpsuit" is just cheaper to replace should you fall down and go BOOM!
The leather "breathes", is typically more comfortable and will protect better against road rash but it is the "armor" thats gonna save you from breaking parts of your body.
