Seeing as people are buying them, they're obviously worth buying.
As far as reliability, how would any car have that? It's a machine. It can't go off and service itself, when you're sleeping, so you don't have to worry about it.
You have to maintain it, service it, repair it, etc. It's only as "reliable" as it's owner. That's all.
Treat it well, it'll outlast you. Don't and it will break down in a month. Same as any other car.
