I am now 53, but do remember at age 5,6,7 when I attended what was referred to as a Tom Thumb wedding, but it was also my confirmation in Jacinto City, TX held at the Community Center on Holland Drive. There was only 1 Catholic Church in Jacinto City and I remember attending my classes there, Our Lady Star. I am trying to obtain my records from the Galveston Diocese now, but was just curious if anyone else attended there or remembers this?
Is a Tom Thumb wedding also referred to when you have your Confirmation?
