...camp and not pay you? I was fired from a summer camp for missing curfew on the 3rd to last day of camp, camp is 8 weeks and I was suppose to get paid $1100.00. Is it legal for them not to pay me anything??
No. Assuming you were an employee (as you must be, due to set hours), you are entitled to be paid for the work you did. You are not entitled to get paid early, however, and the payment is due on the next regularly scheduled pay day.
They must pay you for the time that you did work. So if you were supposed to get paid $1100 for the whole session of camp, they wouldn't have to pay you all of it, but they certainly have to pay you most of it.
