is a letter a good way to break the news to your mom that you want to move to your dads?

my parents have been divorced since i was 3 and i have always lived with my mom and just went to my dads on the weekends and im now almost 16 and i have decided i want to live with my dad but its to hard to tell my mom to her face cause i already know it will hurt her and i dont want to watch her cry so i thought i would write her a letter and leave it for her to find when i went to my dads!! is this the right way to go about it??

No! if you want to go to your dads then you just need to man up and say it to her face.Other wise she might feel hurt that you didn't feel like you could talk to her.Just say hay! it's nothing you did I just want to bond with my dad a little,no matter what just remember your not doing any thing wrong.
