Is a Kicker ZX1500.1 To much power for 1 12w7?

It runs 1500 watts at 2 ohms and 750 at 4 ohms but i dont think my w7 will run at 4 ohms. the rms on my w7 is 750 and 1500 watts peak power. so what is the rms on this amp and will it be ok with this sub?
 
sry man, but if you have a dvc sub, then when you run near half power to it on a good hard hitting song, the sub wont last long, it really depends if you wire you speaker paralell or other ways when it is dvc to make it 2 or 1 ohms from a 4 ohms setup. if you really have any questions you can always go to crutchfield.com for specifics on the wiring bc they have diagrams there. i persoanlly have a kicker compvx4dvc12. i have it wired down to 1 ohm and on a 1k amp it hits so hard i can't stand it, but its wired to its peak ccont. running power
