Is a Kawasaki Ninja a good motorbike for an inexperienced rider?

to ride in the city and on the highway? Someone I know wants to buy one and everyone is worried sick he'll be killed. There are an awful lot of trucks on our local highway.
He's also tall, does that matter?
Sorry I'm unsure of cc.

it is an acceptable bike, the 250R is often touted as a started bike and is more than acceptable on both city streets and highways.

He is no more likely to be killed on the bike than in a car. If he is a reckless lead-foot hothead he will be toast. Otherwise it's cool

the 250 ninja is one of the best beginner sports bikes out there, but height is a large factor in choosing a motorcycle. he will get hit by more wind on a small bike because the deflector is smaller.
the only way to know is to ride it.
i couldn't say for certain without knowing his actual size.
And the trucks shouldn't be an issue as long as he is smart and pays attention to them. you can always speed up, unless there is a car in front, and the act of revving up should alert the driver to your presence. i actually modified my bike for this purpose and put a valve on the header so i can open it (with gloves) when i feel the need to let other drivers know I'm there. (this makes it a lot louder) (i just cut a hole and braze welded the valve on where it can't be seen and wont damage my engine)

What size is it if it is a 250 0r 500cc that would be fine but anything bigger than that and your in for a ride. The roads are bad everywhere you just have to watch out for everyone else.Hes height shouldn't matter.
